Laughlines are famed for their comedy shows and unique events but more recently the company is also getting praise and regognition for organising and creating the whole event including, room theming, props and table decorations. Recent satisfied clients include, ABB Engineering Services and The Seddon Group.
Crathorne Hall was our first port of call this month where we set up a fabulous event for ABB Engineering Services and their clients. The theme was James Bond 007 – black & white Ostich feathers, slender vases with neon lights, scattered crystals twinkled on the table cloths complimented by satin chair covers and sashes . The room was perfected by installing unique 007 Bond props including, eight foot high illuminated Bond figures, Bond girls and even an Austin Powers one, as the great man himself was making an appearance too…
Gold glittered 007 logos with a giant golden gun centered in the room with danger signs and even a toxic waste barrel for effect in the corridor areas!
Pyrotechnic equipment was provided for explosive effects and replica firing pistols were used by the actors in a fight with the evil tyrants. To top things off 007′s Aston Martin DBS graced the forecourt area where many photographs were taken.
On Wednesday 17th June we organised a special 1920′s themed event for the Seddon Group and thier clients at the beautiful Rudding Park Country House Hotel in Harroagte. The empahsis was centered around the tables and the stage area where we created amazing floral displays, giant floral pedastals and napkins folded into dinner jackets with a rose for every lady!
The stage looked fantastic with a black & white 1920′s backdrop, flower displays with stage props and 1920′s style lamp stands. Around the room were 1920′s illuminated sillouettes and a giant gramaphone in reception.
Laughlines performed a 1920′s murder mystery stage play which was wonderfully written by John Tearney and performed by the Laughlines team including John. The performance ran beuatifully and smoothly without a hitch and the audience seemed mesmorised and enthralled as each scene took place.
Both clients expressed there gratitude and thanks for brilliant events and mentioned that comments from their clients were very positive and that they had thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
