Hi Michael,
On behalf of myself and all the staff at Beech Hill I’d like to thank you and the laughlines team for putting on a tremendous Fawlty Towers evening at the Beech Hill Hotel. You exceeded all expectations and the people of Derry were left wanting for more. We cannot wait until the next time!
Laughlines achieved huge success at the Magners Big Tickle Comedy Festival on Thursday 10th September. We appeared at the famous Beech Hill Country House Hotel near Derry, Northern Ireland performing our ever popular Fawlty Towers tribute.
Nearly 200 guests appeared for the Laughlines show including, the WBA middle-weight champion of the world John Duddy! After the show John approached actor Michael Wilson Green who plays Basil and praised him for what he commented on the funniest night of his life, “I have never laughed so much in my life” he said and asked for photgraphs with his wife. He also commented on Michael’s take on Basil, saying, “It was absolutely perfect, the manerisms, the voice and the whole frenetic and energetic way he darted about for nearly three hours supported by the great John Tearney as Manuel and Wren Chapman as Sybil Fawlty. John and his wife then joined Michael and the team for drinks in the hotel bar where the wonderful Northern Irish again showed their hospitality and the party went on until the wee small hours.
Laughlines have been asked back to Ireland early next year for more shows including, Fawlty Towers and their famous Father Ted show. Laughlines will also be performing at the Magners comedy festival again next September where they will perform Fawlty Towers and Father Ted on consequtive nights at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel.
Laughlines are the original, English, Fawlty Towers tribute show… that’s why people choose Laughlines for the best Fawlty Towers dining experience.
