Laughlines are all set for visiting Northern Ireland next week in the beautiful city of Derry.  Once again we are entertaining at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel, this hotel offers wonderful food and is the perfect setting for all Laughlines themed entertainment.  On Friday 06th August we are performing our ever popular Tribute to Father Ted Show, this hilarious event includes all the typical irony, featuring, Father Ted, Dougal, Father Jack, Mrs Doyle and special guest star, Bishop Brennan!  The evening will kick off with Father Jacks wake and then extend into a fabulous night of comedy fun including, the fixed raffle, the inter priests ready steady go X factor contest, Ted’s Mr. & Mrs. contest, Father Dougal’s exorcism class, Father Ted’s confession box, the priests cabaret, Mrs. Doyle’s river dance class and the Craggy Island disco…   Professional actors… John Tearney, Lisa Howard, Peter Dineen and Michael Wilson-Green will be doing the honours of taking on the characters and delivering a highly amusing show!

On Saturday 07th August the Laughlines team will continue with their famous tribute to Fawlty Towers show – the team have been performing this event for over 12 years now and it is still proving to be the peoples favourite!  Laughlines are the UK’s original tribute to Fawlty Towers company and this is our first visit to Ireland since last September…  Both events are looking like sell outs!

Beech Hill have erected a huge marquee just like last year, as these shows could have been sold out two to three times over!  Professional sound equipment is being used as usual, so everybody gets to hear and the Father Ted show will be filmed.

The Laughlines team impress everyone with their musical talents...

Robin Gobb (One of the Gee Gees) assists in the finale' Dancing Queen... Laughlines organised the props, the sound, the music, the casino and the table decorations...Gillian Form of ABB commented that the feedback from their clients was amazing! This was certainly the best show yet, an absolute corker!

This show is selling fast, not surprisingly as it is highly amusing, immensely entertaining and the singing is excellent!

The event can be performed as a murder mystery event with all the singing and musical trimmings or purely as an ABBA Night – ‘Mamma Mia’

Laughlines have performed yet another winning formula with their tribute to Last of the Summer Wine.

This is a brand new stage set comedy play performed in-between courses and is ideal for corporate events, specifically tailored for clients who prefer to have little, or non interactive entertainment!

The play was written and directed by John Tearney of Laughlines and all credit to John as it was an instant hit with our client, the Seddon Group!  This comedy is based around foggy’s funeral and his last dying wishes for his friends…Compo, Cleggy and new recruit Wing Commander Davies!  Old favourites were there of course with the likes of Nora Batty & Howard and Pearl.  It really was well received by our client who commented on it being, brilliant fun and a fantastic night all round.   The room was set up with a stage and a Yorkshire themed backdrop of the dales and rolling hills, a mini bar for a pub scene and a tin bath which doubled up as foggy’s coffin and an old aeroplane for Compo!  Being a Yorkshire theme the scene would not have been completed without the use of beautiful white roses surrounded by crystals and tea lights, we also had four huge flower pedastal displays which look amazing!

This new show will be offered to other clients around the country…it’s a lovely piece of dinner theatre incorporating, comedy, music, singing and it is first class entertainment.

Flowers were arranged by the wonderfully talented Kate Sullivan who worked solidly with Louise all day.
