Wednesday, December 29th, 2010Laughlines have yet again come up with another smash hit show, their comedy version of Strictly Come Dancing was performed at the award winning Rudding Park Country House Hotel in Harrogate on Christmas Eve. The ever popular Rodney Paulden (Two Ronnie’s, Upstairs Downstairs,) introduced the show as the imitable Bruce Foresight…”I had the foresight to arrange this wonderful dance evening and come here and entertain you lot…nice to see you…to see you, NICE!
Michael Wilson-Green performed as Bruno Cannelloni the Italian camp judge with attitude (botty smacky, smacky botty…hanky panky you look swanky) The audience were actually treated to some superb professional ballroom dancing and they all had the opportunity of scoring and judging after each dance…tables were made into teams each with a dance name such as Pasa Doble, Cha Cha Cha, etc… After the wonderful dance routines the audience were invited up after dinner to try some Latino dancing with the professionals which was enjoyed immensely and the best judged couple were awarded an engraved gold cup trophy.
