Laughlines are performing their famous Fawlty Towers Show at the original hotel in Torquay.
The Hotel Gleneagles is the home of Fawlty Towers and it is where the story of making the series all began. John Cleese stayed at the hotel with the legendary Monty Python team while filming once and witnessed the antics of the Hotel owner, he was so fascinated by him that he decided to return to the hotel to observe him in more detail. He ultimately called Connie Booth over to view the hotelier from hell in action and they immediately started writing the first episode of the number one classic comedy of all time!
Laughlines are proud to be contracted to the hotel with our interactive version of the show. It really is just like being on set and living the Fawlty Towers dream! Some people have actually returned over and over again to see this event which speaks volumes for the professional cast and the very high standards they have attained.
