Laughlines are to perform at Crathorne Hall in Yarm once again and will entertain 90 guests at a special corporate event.  The event is being held by ABB Engineering and they are to treat there regular important clients to a VIP evening of fun and games. The event kicks off with a fantastic Fawlty Towers Murder Mystery, as guests arrive they will be treated to the classic thrashing of the car sketch with Basil Fawlty, including a very large branch!  Laughlines have even got the original car & plates sat outside the front of the building.  After the exploding energetic episodes at the car scene the VIP clients will be escorted by Sybil and Polly around the back of this wonderful hotel into the beautiful gardens where they will be treated to a swing time jazz session with a lavish drinks reception. The Fawlty Towers Murder Mystery will unfold during dinner and even Basil’s brother Clifford turns up unannounced.  Amoungst the controlled chaos there will be the Health Inspector, Mrs. Richards (The Deaf one) and a very large Siberian Hamster.  Manuel will serenade the guests with some classic songs as well as helping Basil carry out the dead body!   Classic sketches, music, dancing and a brilliant themed casino await everyone. The red carpet treatment and a very patriotic theme with bunting, flags, projected images of Fawlty Towers, and even life size characters of the hit comedy series will be laid on. Laughlines full cast of acclaimed professional comedy actors will again make this event very special and will ensure the laughing never stops. Laughlines are pleased to welcome a number of new talented actors including; Amanda Holden, Ruth Gleghorn, Damien Hirst, Owain Shaw, Lawrence Ghorra, Guy Press and Kelly De Jong. 

Kelly De Jong has just completed filming a commercial for Kelloggs and is now playing Polly in Laughlines Fawlty Towers Shows.

All these actors will be involved in many corporate events and contributing to our quality corporate entertainment, they will also be appearing for the public in Laughlines popular murder mysteries and Fawlty Towers events.  

We are pleased to be working with Bryan Hourihane agian this summer.  Bryan once worked for Her Majesty the Queen as her head Gardener and one day decided to hang up his spade and went to train as a professional Actor, he now directs plays and Acts as well as offering his services to Laughlines.  It is great to work with him, he is certainly a real character and fun to be with.  Bryan plays the role of the Major in our Fawlty Towers events amoungst other parts for Laughlines.

Laughlines keep you posted – Laughlines has recently completed a national tour of seventy-five Royal Mail sites with a Road Show Training Programme.

Laughlines was chosen out of three other top companies in the UK to take on this huge contract, which has proved to be so successful that a second phase is being discussed later this year. The programme involved education about how to beat the competition while earning rewards at the same time. The training sessions were great fun and moral boosting for everyone and recent completed feedback forms indicated a 98% positive reaction to the scheme.

The beauty of this training programme is that it is suitable for any company in any industry and can be related to any product or service.

Professional Actor John Tearney has recently appeared in Hollyoaks as Bomb Heads Dad and completed a run of six episodes.

John has appeared in Cold Feet, The Royal, Emmerdale, Byker Grove and many pantomimes and theatre productions working with the likes of Jill Halfpenny and Vicky Entwistle. Keep your eye out for John as he appears in commercials and soaps…
